Welcome to Wilkinson Ranch’s Bull Sale. Wilkinson Ranch is a family owned and operated ranch. We know it is important to our customers that the bulls you are selecting are born and raised on our ranch.
To Be a cattleman, you have to be tough and welcome a day of hard work. To be a Successful cattleman.... You also have to be smart. That starts with choosing the RIGHT Bulls and Heifers. Our bulls have Marbling and Muscle that will make you money, by expanding your market possibilities. What kind of beef do you want to eat? The ranch consists of the Mother, Mary, Sons Dan and Mark and families. Daughter Vicki, who helps with everything around the farm, especially A.I. ing. Family is an important part of our operation and is a big part of our success. We have a strong work ethic, which motivates us to set goals for our operation and industry for the next generation. We select our bulls from over 600 dams. We have 50+ Pathfinder cows every year. Our cattle are bred for quality and genetic makeup, which results in the mother’s having great longevity in the herd and can function in a real world of grazing grass and cornstalks. Their offspring will add real value in what the market demands. We take great pride in the maternal and carcass values we have developed on our cow herd. We A.I. about 200+ heifers and 300+ cows every year selecting A.I. sires with our customers and beef industry in mind. With the wide use of Artificial Inseminations, DNA and 50K Testing, we are in the information age of the cattle business. You have more tools than ever to help you in making your genetic selection. Combining these tools with the cowman’s eye can take you to the future, while adding new markets with an emphasis on marbling and muscle, an attribute that some Angus and other breeds don’t have.
We think by continually adding more values to our bulls, the cattle industry, as a whole will be better by making people’s eating experience a great one each and every time they consume our products.
