Sunrise Centre

SUNRISE CENTRE is a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization licensed by the State of Michigan for Substance Abuse Treatment and Detoxification. Sunrise Centre has been accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF) Established in 1991, Sunrise Centre is operated for adults who are unable to afford other private rehabilitation centers. At our Women’s Family Recovery Center, children (5th grade and under) may stay the night during the weekends with their mother. This time for reunification allows the children to have bonding time with their mother while helping her maintain motivation to work toward ongoing recovery. Sunrise Centre offers an evidence based, multimodality, multi- pathway treatment approach that honors that for every individual there is a unique pathway to long term recovery. While AA/NA meetings are currently offered every evening, by the summer of 2016, we will be offering multi-pathway meetings. For our residents coming from the Midstate region (see Regional Map link below), Peer Support Services are available to help meet day to day needs of residents as well as helping to ensure a smooth transition back to their home community. For our residents that come from the NMRE region (see Regional Map link below), Peer support Services following treatment can be coordinated with the resident’s primary counselor and the NMSAS Peer Recovery Program prior to discharge. The mission of Sunrise Centre is to guide those suffering from a substance use disorder from active addiction to quality recovery that encompasses social, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being.
