Nashua leads off another new sire group for us. We purchased DC from Post Rock in 2024 as a red calving ease option, while still having the EPD strength to stay inside the guard rails. His first calves averaged 77 pounds at birth and we didn’t have to assist anyone. They then averaged 759 at weaning. This guy is the overachiever of the batch, posting a staggering 896 pound weaning weight off of his first calving John Wayne dam, and he’s been gaining 4.68 pounds on test since then! Top 5% for BW and CE with that kind of performance, that’s big time!
