I hardly ever screw up (just ask Maralee), but the LAZY 344L bull might be my first. We purchased 344L, also known as Lloyd, from Cory & Sam Voss to use on the kids show heifers. When Gunner got hurt 2 weeks into breeding season, Lloyd got called up to the Big Leagues and covered his cows. I wasn’t blown away by the calves this spring, so we found Lloyd a new home. Fast forward to today and the most talked about bull in the red pen is a Lloyd son. Lot 25’s dam is a daughter of the KHR 52C bull. When toured through the KHR herd in 2023, his was the sire group that stood out to me as a female maker. Lot 26 is the second of two Lloyd sons in this years sale. His dam is a direct daughter of our Faye donor, and was a heifer that the kids had in the show pen, so she got exposed early. 65 pounds at birth is exactly what we were shooting for from Lloyd. Top 10% CE and BW, with looks to burn sweetens the pot!
