As much as I talk about the maternal power of the Yikes daughters, I think the Gunner daughters might be the next great sire group here. Take a look at the effort this hard working Gunner daughter did on Lot 27! She simply kicked it up to the Next Gear! 85 pounds at birth, up to a scale crushing 877 weaning weight. Add on his WW & YW numbers in the top 20%, and Scrotal, CW, Marbling, $Gain, MWT, and FPI numbers that are all in the top 10% or better. With a 60 day ADG of 5.52, this guy screams Beef Bull!

Lot 28 comes from Emerson Sickler, tracing back to the first female we purchased for him in 2015 - PHG B24. He’s been selectively mating this cow line to try and make a red heifer for years, but keeps getting black calves. Ironically he cracked the code with Lot 28 when he bred two black parents and made a red bull. B24 was a Dam of Merit four times, and a Dam of Distinction once. I like the potential in this calf with Eminence stacked on Yikes and EC.
