Her work captures breathtaking landscapes, marine life, and moments of stillness in nature. She is the co-founder and photographer of Green Tile Social Club, an NYC-based mahjong community where she fosters connections and celebrates culture through shared experiences. From documenting southern right whale research in the Subantarctic Islands to the preservation of the smallest penguins in the world in New Zealand, out in the elements is where her storytelling is at its best. Julie is a total cetacean nerd and spends countless hours on the water looking for marine life. Since 2022, Julie has worked as an Expedition Guide and Photographer in the Arctic and Antarctica. More recently, she began leading photography safaris in Africa. She advocates for the ocean and the broader natural world, using her images to tell stories about our deep connection to the environment.
