THE CHILDREN’S ART WALK 2025 Things with Wings

The Children’s Art Walk showcases what children can achieve when they are given space to create, supported by passionate volunteers and teachers who work tirelessly to keep art alive in our schools.

T his year’s theme, Things with Wings, was an absolute delight. The Anglican Church Hall was filled with colourful, imaginative artworks from children across our valley. Dragons, birds, planes, insects, and more swirled across the room in vibrant displays, while proud young artists showed their work to friends and family. The main event was introduced by Ame Beukes, WCED Overberg Art Subject

kroon, and Greyton. They continued the celebration by making music and singing together in honor of the Arts. I cannot stress enough the importance of projects like this in keeping creativity alive and ensuring that children have access to the many career opportunities within the creative world.
