machine to produce kraft sheets, digital printed quality sheets, or offset print quality sheets all within a web-based line. “All three lines, the 400, Quantum, and Lamigator, can be installed with the Fosber monochrome digital printer, in conjunction with Fujifilm Integrated Inkjet Solutions. We have developed a scalable inline solution to provide con- stant or variable print for each corrugated sheet. Variable print enables serialization, personalization, traceability, and rapid job changes by providing variable print from the corrugator in lieu of individual converting equipment. “Corrugating rolls—critical to board geometry and flute formation—are backed by the strength of Tiruña, a Fosber Group company and a global leader in roll manufacturing. In 2025, Tiruna America added a state of the art Mägerle creep feed roll grinder in Green Bay as part of a $6 million investment, dramatically improving roll accuracy, through- put, and lead times. “Whether it’s a full 400 Line, a high graphics Quantum, a Lamigator or a transition into digital print, Fosber’s focus remains unchanged: help our customers make superior board, reduce waste, and grow profitably in an increasing- ly demanding market. As the corrugated industry contin- ues to evolve, Fosber stands ready engineering the ma- chinery, service, and digital tools that will define the next decade of packaging performance.” Visit fosber.com and tirunaamerica.com . a fully integrated experience — from sales and production, to installations, service, parts, engineering, training, and upgrades — all from our headquarters in Green Bay, WI. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional support, and we’re always available. “At Fosber America, our mission is simple and concise: design and deliver quality high performing machinery with World Class OEM Support for the full machine manufactur- ing life. We provide services to make our customers more agile, productive, and competitive—every single day. “In an era defined by rapid shifts in packaging demands and tightening sustainability expectations, Fosber contin- ues to shape the future of corrugated manufacturing. We have a clear vision for 2026 featuring complete corruga- tors to advanced corrugating roll technology. Fosber in- troduces two new product lines, the Fosber Litho-Lamina- tor and Digital Print Integration on the corrugator. Fosber America continues the path as the leading supplier of cor- rugated equipment for the North American marketplace. “The 400 Complete Corrugator remains our flagship line for North America. They are designed in 98-inch and 110-inch widths and capable of speeds up to 1500 FPM, and beyond. Entering new and emerging markets, the 400 Line represents Fosber’s industrial strength, with the Quantum Corrugator representing its technical ingenuity and agility. Engineered for microflute and high graphics board, Quantum minimizes paper heat stresses with a one- to-one heating cycle between the singleface and double- face liner, maximizing production quality with the advent of increasing availability from the digital print market. Flutes F, N, G, E, along with B, C, and doublewall combinations run with minimal efforts for Warp Control no matter the roll- to-roll moisture variance or combining coated with coated liner and coated with non-coated liners. With the increase in digital print competing with offset print, and at times flexo print, the Quantum Corrugator matches today’s digi- tal printing technology advances superfluously. “In late 2025 we announced two new machine devel- opments. Fosber’s Lamigator captures the production of running sheet-to-roll with offset quality print, or roll-to-roll. Production utilizes digital or flexo quality preprint rolls which are much simpler than before with either single- wall or doublwall formats. A truly innovative cost-effective

kind of estimates do vendor can- didates provide? How detailed are they? Have you ever received a two or three-page quote for a system costing hundreds of thousands of dollars? “You may have learned the hard way that vendor candidates who

submit these ultra-short lowball proposals are often omit- ting features needed to make the system run. This hap- pens more than you might think. We often hear from board converting company decision-makers who purchased a system from the competition at ‘a great price,’ only to discover that the system they were promised wasn’t what they thought they were getting. “What gets left out? Things like controls, motor start- ers, access ladders and platforms, inline duct mufflers, roof curbs for roof penetrations, approval drawings, and wiring diagrams are just a few of the many components of- ten ‘omitted’ from abbreviated system quotes. These ‘too good to be true’ quotes almost never include a warranty on remanufactured or refurbished equipment, and if they do, the estimate may be vague about whether the warran- ty includes labor and parts. “If the quote doesn’t contain the details and you don’t CONTINUED ON PAGE 34
