PAP testing has become a crucial part of our sale process in recent years. After losing a few bull calves to brisket disease, we realized that PAP measurement is essential not only for our success but also for the success of our high-altitude customers. This test ensures that we can confidently offer our bulls to cattlemen managing some of the most challenging grazing conditions. After years of exploring outside genetics, our friends Ken and Cheri Graves of Red Fork Red Angus, took a leap of faith with our program. Their herd, running at altitudes up to 8,000 feet in Kaycee, Wyoming, benefited from our bulls, which introduced fresh genetics into a long-established, nearly closed herd. We’re deeply grateful for this ongoing partnership that PAP testing has helped foster!
