AF&PA Releases May 2020 Boxboard Monthly Report

AF&PA has released its May 2020 Boxboard Monthly report. Total Boxboard production in May increased two percent compared to May 2019. It was down one percent when compared to the same five months of 2019. The box- board operating rate was 96.6 percent, up 5.3 points from May 2019 and up 0.9 points year-to-date. Solid Bleached Boxboard production in May increased two percent compared to May 2019. It was down three percent when compared to the same five months of 2019. Recycled Boxboard production in May increased four per- cent compared to May 2019. It was essentially flat when compared to the same five months of 2019.
