The Rockland Nats are climbing up the standings ladder in their division as they earned three points this past weekend out of a possible four while on the road for two games. The Nats visited La Peche Saturday to face off against l’Academie Jr. Outaouais and stayed on course to walk away with a 5-1 win. Nats coaching staff credited a complete team performance with the Nats following a game plan to play disciplined hockey and get the win to separate themselves fromAcademie Jr. in the north division standings. Overall, the coaching staff expressed satisfaction with the win and turned their focus to the Sunday matchup against Pap- ineauville. On Papineauville’s home ice the Nats took them into overtime for the second time this season. Finishing in a 3-3 tie the Nats made a third-period comeback to force OT against a strong Vikings team.The Nats had numerous scoring opportunities throughout the game with shots fired from all angles. Une autre médaille pour les Crush L’équipe masculine de volleyball senior de l’École secondaire catholique L’Escale continue d’impressionner. En effet, l’équipe a remporté le championnat de la ligue des écoles secondaires de Prescott-Russell, le 10 novembre, contre l’École secondaire publique Le Sommet, en finale en cinq sets. Après avoir perdu les deux premiers sets par lamarque de 25-21 et 25-20, les athlètes de L’Escale se sont repris en gagnant les trois autres sets par la marque de 25-11, 25-18 et 15-7. L’équipe se dirigeait aujourd’hui, le 19 novembre, au championnat de l’Est ontarien (EOSSAA), où ils tenteront de répéter l’exploit de l’an dernier et d’avoir un laissez-passer pour le championnat provincial OFSAA à Kenora, à la fin novembre. L’équipe a accumulé une fiche de 29 victoires et 8 défaites cette année. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of Clarence-Rockland will be commencing its operating and capital budget discussions onTuesday, November 24, 2015. At these meetings Council will also give consideration to amendments to user fee by-laws to reflect the council-approved rates for 2016. The proposed 2016 Budget meeting schedule is listed below. Les Crush de Clarence-Rockland ont remporté une fois de plus unemédaille à la suite de leur deuxième tournoi à Jay Peak le week-end dernier. L’équipe atome majeur est repartie avec la deuxième place et une médaille d’argent au cou. Le week-end a commencé en force pour les jeunes alors qu’ils ont d’abord remporté leur partie du vendredi 6 à 0 contre les Hawks, puis celle contre les Ottawa Stings par la marque de 5 à 1. Les jeunes ont ensuite blanchi les New England Edge par un pointage de 6 à 0. Leur troisième match s’est terminé à égalité, soit 2 à 2, contre Casselman-Embrun. Les Crush se sont finalement incliné en tir de barrage face aux Jets deMetcalfe, lors du match final, remportant ainsi la seconde place.
