a WHERE IS 60D? by Rev. Kenneth L. Fischer I N order to understand where God is, it is important to help a child understand what God is like. Possibly we are hesitant in teaching very young children the doctrine of the Trinity because we don’t fully understand it ourselves and thus conclude that a child cannot grasp this great truth. But it is essential that children have a concept of the Three Personali ties o f the One God. The use o f an egg is helpful in illustrating the Trinity. An egg has three parts; egg the white, egg the yolk, egg the shell. The parts may be separated but they will always be egg. Even after you take egg the white and whip it into a frosting, it is still egg. Each part serves a different pur pose but the fact that it is egg never changes. FEBRUARY. 1969

the plan. God the Holy Spirit is the revealer o f the plan. When a child understands God’s character, it is less difficult to understand where God is. God the Father is on His throne in heaven. God the Son is at His right hand and God the Holy Spir it indwells every believer. Because each One is omniscient and omni present, each One can know every where at the same time. God knows our thoughts before we even think them. He knows everything there is to know about us. He knows things that we don’t even know. The very hairs of our head are numbered. “ God is our refuge and strength, a very pres ent help in trouble.” God is where we are! Ofttimes it is the real young— five and six and seven-year-olds who are asking this question and for them a presentation along these lines probably wou ld be helpful. Our God — Jesus — is a real live Person whom we can’t see. But He sees us and loves us and wants to take care o f us. Our God, Jesus, has a home in Heaven but His Spirit, which we can’t see,
