Great Plains Health Community Impact 2024-2025

A message from leadership At Great Plains Health, our mission – to inspire health and healing by putting the patient first always – is more than a description of our daily work. It is a promise to our community. Yes, health and healing includes clinic visits, bloodwork, therapy and relationships with providers who are committed to being a partner in your lifelong health journey. We are proud to offer valuable services to our community within the walls of our clinics and hospital, but we are committed to taking our mission one step further. We are an independent health system with local leadership and insights – and we use those insights to create wellness and innovation for others. The health of our community is about more than healthcare. It includes

being an active participant in the projects and growth that impact our region. Our Great Plains Gives Committee grants thousands of dollars annually to our community, such as the Platte River Fitness Series, safe after-prom events, improved pickleball and tennis courts, trail system expansion and more. Our employees volunteered more than 25,000 hours with local organizations in 2023 alone. Great Plains Health hosted dozens of outreach events, ranging from Stop the Bleed to school simulation lab visits. Our 2024–2025 Community Impact Report provides a glimpse into the many ways we are serving Greater Nebraska now and for many years to come. Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to care for you.
