Typical Energy Checks can highlight energy-saving potential of 20% or more by identifying issues such as excess pressure, air leaks, pressure drops, inef- ficient controls, oversized air treatment and poor maintenance strategies. Even small optimisation measures can generate significant results. For ex- ample, reducing system pressure by just 1.0 bar can lower energy consumption by more than 10%. Likewise, recovering waste heat from compressor systems can significantly reduce heating costs and CO 2 emissions.
