Cancer fundraiser to be held for Rockland resident A fundraiser will be held at the Labyrinth Pool Hall in Wendover on Saturday, January 13, to help raise money for a young man from Rockland who was recently diagnosed with a Glioma brain tumor. Tyler was diagnosed in August 2017 and, due to a decrease in his health, was forced to quit the two jobs he worked to support himself. Five local bands – Fluid, Appolo has fallen, Down in Eden, Tamin Sari and Trigon – will be performing at the fundraiser beginning at 7 p.m., and tickets can be bought at the door. Interested sponsors willing to contribute door prizes or monetary donations can contact the organizer, Emmanuel Viau, at 613-862-0132. —submitted photo
