To our friends: The Bible Institute of Los Angeles is pu t ting before its friends—present and prospective a brief statement of operating and expansion needs. Opening of our twenty-first school year finds a large body of young men and women students, animated by an earnest desire to serve their fellows, gathered for training under a notably capable teaching staff. It is the purpose of the Institute to provide a curriculum which shall fit these students to do effective service as pastors’ assistants, directors of Christian education, musical directors, and leaders of young people’s activities, thus giving efficient help to pastors of every church com munion. Nearly every evangelical denomina tion is sending its young people to the Bible Institute for training. The work of the class room is made prac tical to the students by assignment to forms of work suited to their abilities in local churches of their own denomination. Class instruction is free. A modest charge is made for individual music lessons. For board and room a nominal charge is made.
