TYPE R, CLASS 2
Intended for use by personnel exposed to vehicular traffic from public access rights of way or roadway temporary traffic control zones. Class 2 garments require the use of greater amounts of high-visibility materials which help distinguish between a human and an inanimate object. – Forestry operations – Ship cargo loading operations – Roadway construction – Utility & railway workers – School crossing guards – Delivery vehicle drivers – High volume parking and toll gate personnel – Airport baggage & handlers/ground crew – Trash collection & recycling operations
TYPE 0, CLASS 1
Intended for use in environments where there are struck-by hazards from moving vehicles, equipment & machinery not operating on public access rights of way or temporary traffic control zones. – Parking/Service location workers – Warehousing – Oil & Gas extraction workers – Refinery workers – Mining
