This is the position of modern scholarship. It would therefore seem to be folly for the liberalists to debate the premillennial question until they have succeeded in completely demolish ing the Scriptures. When that has been done there will be no premillennial question to debate. “Thy word is settled in heaven.” Many of us will continue to Cling to it for th a t reason, although all the schol ars of earth may assemble to unsettle it in the earth.
