Their first stop was at Turlock, where they held a union service for one night, leaving the next -day for Ceres, Calif., where they served the Baptist Church. From here they traveled north to Central Point, Oregon, where on Sun day, July 4th, they held the morning service, God honoring and giving them souls. They proceeded to Portland, where they held two services, one in the Pres byterian Church and the other in the Sunnyside Congregational Church. Going into Washington on July 11th, they started services in Arlington, Wash. Here, despite much opposition, God led many into a fuller life, and some forty-seven to a tru st in the shed blood. After two weeks’ stay a t Arlington, the party went to Bro. N. J. Barnes’ church at Sedro-Woolley. Here God’s wonderful power was made known in the building up of saints and in the salva tion of the lost. Factory meetings, street meetings, and prayer meetings were greatly used of God. After three Sundays the party moved on to Lyman, and from thence the party went to Blaine, Wash., for a union campaign. God wonderfully blessed. After two weeks the party proceeded south to Ferndale. Here the house was jammed and many helped. The party moved on south after four days’ work, with Rev. Chas. Nethery and his church. Stopping one night a t Bellingham, with a union service of both churches, and one a t Seattle, the party went on south to Lebam. Staying here a week, God richly blessed. At Pe Ell, the next

Af ter a whirlwind tour of some four months’ constant work we rejoice to know th a t some 513 surrendered to Christ, while some 280 were saved. Over 700 testaments were put out with some 9000 gospel tracts. Pray for this work th a t God might bless and preserve it. ¿ifc. at? a? BIBLE WOMEN Mrs. Lyman Stewart, Supt. She was trying to make the way of salvation very plain, but he paid little heed to her, except to oppose her. Just as she was fearing little would be accomplished during that visit a sister of the man, who evidently had been listening outside, came rushing in and kneeling beside th e worker, cried out, “ I have all my life been a church member, but I am not saved, and I do want to be,” and right then she yielded herself, and not long afterward the brother came out clearly into the light.
