SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Hoveton Hall Gardens, Cromer & Shire Horse Centre

Today we travel the short distance to Norwich where we have the morning to explore. This lovely medieval city has plenty of interest, from its ornately cloistered cathedral and medieval city gates leading to its Saxon-era marketplace to the Museum of Norwich and some fabulous shopping. After time for lunch we head to Wroxham, where we board our cruiser for our 2 hour circular cruise on the delightful Norfolk Broads. Day 3 North Norfolk Railway and Felbrigg Estate This morning our first stop is the North Norfolk Railway for a fabulous steam journey to Sheringham. Also known as the Poppy Line, we sit back and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery as we journey to the Victorian seaside town. We then have free time in Cromer for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Felbrigg Hall, Gardens and Estate, a beautifully elegant country house set in a whopping estate with a decorative walled garden, picturesque lake, 520 acres of woodland and trails to wander. Inside, we can visit the opulent Great Hall, with stained glass windows dating from the 15th century; the Dining Room, where the table is set for an 1860s dinner party; and the Gothic library, which contains a staggering 5,000 books, the oldest of which dates from 1509. Day 4 Bressingham Steam & Gardens & Southwold We make our way to the beautiful Bressingham Gardens this morning, with stunning plant combinations to admire across six distinct gardens, totalling over 17 acres. For a unique look at the fabulous gardens, woodlands and countryside of Bressingham, we climb aboard the magnificent steam engine here! With over four miles of narrow-gauge steam lines and four journeys to choose from, we can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic ride. After time for lunch in Bressingham, we head to the charming seaside town of Southwold, complete with its famous painted beach huts and lovely pier. We enjoy some free time to explore the pier, stroll along the beach and wander through the town before returning to Great Yarmouth late afternoon. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

We spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing back in Great Yarmouth. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
