Leighton Hall at Christmas
This morning, we visit Leighton Hall, where we are greeted with coffee and mince pies , before embarking on a tour of the hall, dressed for Christmas. We then make a short journey to Bay View Garden Centre, for free time in their Christmas Shop, plant area and restaurant, with stunning views over Morecambe Bay, we have a voucher towards lunch here. Day 3 Blackpool We spend today in Blackpool, starting at its newest attraction: Showtown . This museum houses 6 themed galleries that tell the story and history of everything that is Blackpool: magic, circus, shows, dance, the seaside and of course the Illuminations! We then have some free time to spend on the North Pier before making our way back to the hotel. Day 4 Lake District This morning we head down memory lane to the Lakeland Motor Museum . The Museum isn’t just about cars. The entire collection is presented in a social context, with a host of rarities to awaken some special memories. We then take the short journey to Lakeside where we enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst we cruise to Bowness-on-Windermere . Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Festive Fish & Chips and Glow at RHS Bridgewater We have the morning at leisure, perhaps take a short walk to Bolton’s shopping centre for some Christmas Shopping. We then make our way to the Olympus Fish & Chip Restaurant where we enjoy a Festive Fish & Chip Dance & singalong , which includes traditional fish and chips and an afternoon of entertainment before a cream tea. In the early evening we make our way to RHS Bridgewater for their spectacular Glow event. Day 3 Oswaldtwistle Mills We spend today at the excellent Oswaldtwistle Mills shopping village and garden centre, an award-winning former weaving mill with more than 100 retailers under one roof, its own garden centre, mill grounds, craft and sewing centre and even a wildfowl reserve. We have time to browse for gifts before joining in the festivities at their Christmas Party which includes a drinks service, homemade Christmas lunch, warm mince pies and live entertainment! Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

We begin our day with free morning in Lincoln to browse the shops or explore its magnificent cathedral. One of Europe’s finest Gothic buildings. This afternoon we head to Belton House for its stunning Christmas at Belton to enjoy the illuminated walking trail and admire its many colourful and bright displays. Although Belton House is located across from the hotel, it is recommended the coach is used as the long walkway takes approx 10-20 minutes to walk depending on mobility. Day 3 Departure A must stop before we leave the county, is the fantastic Belton Garden centre which has a superb Christmas shop and a café, where a cake and drink is a must! INCLUSIONS • Belton House Lights Trail
This morning we visit the impressive 18th century Tatton Park . The mansion is beautifully adorned with natural decorations from the estate, adding a lovely scent to the traditional sights. We then spend time at leisure exploring Chester’s atmospheric Christmas market. Day 3 Festive Cruise & Manchester Christmas Market We make our way to Wigan Pier to embark on a lovely three hour canal cruise , tucking into a festive afternoon tea as we sail. We spend this afternoon at leisure in the wonderful city of Manchester, exploring the Christmas market and if time allows, some of its notable historic or scientific sights.
