A t a meeting of the Karmiel Municipality’s Planning and Building Committee, the building permit for the “Hazuk” Hotel was approved - a prestigious project that will include 99 accommodation units and 11 pools. The hotel will be built by Perceptus Israel Ltd., in collaboration

with the Moshe Hadif Group, and will be built on Derech Hashalom Street, above Nahal Hilzon. The “Hazuk” Hotel joins the “Hazait” Hotel, which was granted a building permit in May 2023 and, according to the plan, will suit all types of visitors. The new hotel is

expected to be a sought-after tourist destination, and will open up many possibilities for the city in the field of tourism and conferences. Karmiel Mayor, Moshe Koninsky: “This is the second hotel to be built in Karmiel, and another important step in developing tourism and

the economy in the city. The approval of the building permit for the “Hazuk” Hotel is another step in realizing our vision for smart and advanced urban development, part of our ongoing efforts to make the city a magnet for tourists, businesses and residents”.

The chain, which operates 16 hotels across the country, announced the appointments following the retirement of CEO Danny Lipman Atlas Hotel Chain Appoints New Management

N ew appointments in the management of the Atlas Hotels chain. The hotel chain announced the appointment of Yaron and Lior Lipman as joint CEOs of the chain. The appointments came into effect following the retirement of their father Danny Lipman, who led the chain for years. Yaron Lipman (37) began his career at the chain 14 years ago, and has since held a number of senior positions. He founded and managed the purchasing

and marketing departments, and later served as project and business development manager. In his last position, he served as VP of Staff and was responsible for all of the chain’s departments, including finance, marketing, human resources, sales, food and beverages, purchasing, computing and communications. Lipman holds a degree in business administration and psychology from Ben-Gurion University. Lior Lipman (40) joined the

chain 16 years ago and has specialized over the years in opening new hotels, including Market House in Jaffa, Bezalel in Jerusalem, and Fabric in Tel Aviv. In his last position, he served as VP of Business Development, and will now be responsible for business development, establishing new hotels, and managing the chain’s hotel managers. Lipman holds a degree in business administration and has experience in the hotel industry in New York as part of the Library Hotel

Collection. The chain’s new CEOs said: “As those who, as children, hung around hotels, packed soaps, served, cleared dishes, and served as receptionists, it is a closing of a circle for us to take over the reins of managing the Atlas chain. Our goal is to continue to lead the chain as a prominent and leading player in the Israeli hotel industry and boutique hotels in particular, while conquering new peaks”.
