WELCOME
March 2025
Shalom and Welcome to ITB 2025. It is an honor to welcome you to ITB 2025, the world’s leading travel trade show. As the Director of the Israel Tourism Office in Berlin, I am excited to participate in this important event, that brings together industry professionals, partners, and friends to shape the future of travel. The past months have been challenging for all of us, and Israel’s tourism industry has faced significant obstacles. However, resilience is at the heart of our story. Israel has always rebounded stronger from difficult times, and today, we stand ready once again to welcome visitors and partners with open arms. Throughout this period, our priority has been to maintain close ties with our partners in the German-speaking market. Despite the challenges, interest in Israel remains strong, and we deeply appreciate our partners’ loyalty and commitment. Signs of recovery are becoming more visible: international flights are increasing, tourism is picking up, and Israel is ready to welcome visitors once again. In the past year, we have organized and participated in B2B events, fairs, seminars, press meetings, and roadshows, ensuring that Israel remains on the travel map. We organized media trips to give them the opportunity to experience firsthand that Israel is, as always, an inspiring and diverse destination. Looking ahead, we are committed to supporting and accelerating the recovery of tourism. Through marketing initiatives, collaborations with tour operators and airlines, PR actions, and targeted industry events, we will restore confidence and drive renewed demand for travel to Israel. Israel is a land of history, culture, and innovation, where ancient heritage meets modern experiences, making it a must-visit destination with endless tourism opportunities. Its diverse landscapes, vibrant cities, and rich traditions continue to attract travelers, and we strongly believe that with the Israeli tourism industry’s adaptability and strength, along with our joint efforts, 2025 will be a significant step toward renewed success. I wish us all a successful ITB 2025, full of productive meetings, new opportunities, and optimism for the future. Tourism is more than an industry—it is a bridge between cultures, bringing people together. Looking forward to welcoming your guests to Israel – Land of Creation.
