11.4 BANQUETS AND SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
(a) The Catering Director should be contacted for information and reservations regarding banquets and special functions.
(b) The number of guests attending must be guaranteed one (1) week before the function date.
(c) Twenty five percent (25%) additional fee, for the price per person, will be applied for each person added after the one (1) week attendance guarantee deadline.
11.5 LIQUOR
Liquor law violations are not permitted at the Club. With the exception on Section 11.2 (i), it is illegal for any person to bring alcoholic beverages into the Club for the purpose of consumption or storage. It is also illegal to remove alcoholic beverages from the Club. Club Management employees may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any Member or guest who appears to be intoxicated. Minors may not purchase or consume alcoholic beverages anywhere at the Club.
11.6 CANCELLATION POLICY
(a) If necessary, Club Management reserves the right to cancel service, change the venue or change reserved dates.
(b) Events, cancelled less than 6 months prior to the function, will be charged 75% of the estimated contract total. If the event is less than 30 days out, the charge will be 100% of the total estimated balance.
11.7 SUPERVISION OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE AREAS
The Assistant General Manager, acting under the supervision of the General Manager, has the responsibility for supervision and control of all matters relating to the Food and Beverage Department. The Food and Beverage Manager may refuse privileges to anyone who, in his or her judgment, violates the applicable rules, etiquette or dress code. Responsibility for such supervision may be delegated.
11.8 FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM SPEND
(a) Food and Beverage minimums are calculated by the quarter. ($200 per three-month period established by the accounting office). All food & beverage purchases assigned to member accounts are credited towards the minimum. At the end of each quarter established, amounts short of the requirement will be charged to the member’s account. (Overage in spending will not roll over into the next quarter).
