DEPPE ANGUS: POWERING PROGRAMS FORWARD
Welcome to the 2026 Deppe Angus Annual Production Sale, to be held Friday evening, February 27, 2026, at the Deppe farm in Waverly, Iowa. This annual sale is one of the premier events in the Angus business and offers cattlemen the opportunity to select from over 75 breed-age bulls and nearly 50 head of outstanding females. The Deppe program is built around data-driven genetics with a focus on producing the right kind of cattle to help their customers remain profitable. We are living in some of the most exciting times the cattle industry has ever seen. Never has demand for our product been stronger, and all indications point toward a bright future for many years to come. If you are searching for bull power to move your program forward and add value to your bottom line through extra pounds, performance, and increased end-product value, these Deppe bulls are the right kind to invest in. This year’s offering includes bulls sired by many of the most proven sires in the Angus breed, including Congress, Glacier, Trademark, Grant, Identify, Iconic, Prolific, Craftsman, Wildcat, and more. Also fea- tured is a top-notch set of sons by the Deppe-bred herd sires, Deppe GAF Front-Runner 3010 and Deppe WW SFF Duracell 279. The sale offering includes several bulls suitable for any heifer program, with excellent calving-ease traits, along with a powerful set of bulls packed with muscle, growth, and performance. Rest assured, these bulls also carry the right kind of end-product traits to target CAB® premiums.
Each year, the female offering at Deppe Angus stands out for qual- ity, and this year is no exception. The sale will feature 27 elite open replacement heifers that are fancy, well-bred, and designed to fit into any program. These females come from the heart of the Deppe genetic pool and offer the same strong EPD profiles as the bulls. In addition, over 20 productive spring-bred females and pairs will sell—females that can immediately add value to any operation. It is always a pleasure to join Dennis Deppe, his family, and their part- ners each spring. Their excitement and enthusiasm for the cattle busi- ness is contagious. For repeat customers, you already know the value of doing business with the Deppe program. For cattlemen searching for a source of top-end genetics, I can assure you that you will enjoy doing business with this program. If I can be of assistance in any way prior to the sale, please feel free to give me a call at (918) 510-3464.
