Double 30 is a 2-ply roofing underlayment system applied directly to your roof deck. It consists of two layers of 30-lb asphalt-saturated roofing felt, creating a stronger, thicker, and more durable moisture barrier than a standard single layer.

Tile 2 Ply Underlayment System
Our tile roofs use a premium two-ply waterproofing system installed under the tile for maximum protection: Base Layer: A durable 30-lb asphalt or synthetic base sheet (PolyAnchor HV) is applied to the roof deck to create a strong foundation. Secondary Waterproofing Layer: On top, we install TU MAX, a high-performance rubberized synthetic barrier that provides superior water protection beneath the tile. Together, these two layers create a strong, reinforced system that protects your home from leaks, wind-driven rain, and South Florida’s extreme weather giving your tile roof a longer, stronger lifespan.

ISO insulation is a strong, lightweight board installed under a flat roof to improve energy efficiency and add protection. When tapered ISO is used, it also helps create proper drainage so water flows off the roof instead of ponding.

PHASE 1
Project Process Overview: A Project Manager will be assigned to your job. Your Project Manager will contact you with a welcome call. 1.Day of Scheduled Tear-off Clear the driveway of all cars, objects, or anything that may block placement of dumpsters or roofing vehicles. 2.Permit package will be taped to the front of the home in a visible area — please do not remove it. 3.Roofers will remove the old roofing system and haul away all debris. 4.Roofers will apply the base sheet and required water barriers. 5.Any rotted fascia boards will be replaced up to the amount included in your contract. 6.The roof deck will be prepared and ready for the first inspection phase. If the inspection cannot be completed the same day or weather conditions require it, the roof will be securely tarped to protect the home until the inspection is completed.
PHASE 2 1.Once Phase 1 inspection is passed, the roof will be loaded with the aesthetic covering 2.The assigned installer will return to complete installation of the final roof covering 3.Final inspection will be scheduled and completed. If you Have a Tile Roof 1.Tin Cap & In-Progress inspections are performed at the same time. 2.The roof will be closed off after inspection approval. 3.A third-party engineer will perform an uplift test and provide an official uplift report. 4.Final inspection will be scheduled after the engineer’s approval.
FLAT ROOF ALL DONE IN ONE DAY 1. Preparation & Tear-Off
Remove the existing flat roof material Clean the deck and haul away all debris 2. Deck Inspection & Repairs Inspect the plywood/deck for any damage Replace any rotten wood (within the contract allowance) 3. Install ISO Insulation (If Applicable) Apply ISO or tapered ISO insulation (used to improve drainage when needed) Secure insulation boards properly Note: ISO Insulation is an additional upgrade and is billed as an upcharge if selected. 4. Install Base Sheet Install 1 ply of 75-lb asphalt paper, secured with tin caps This creates the base foundation for the Hot Mop system
FLAT ROOF ALL DONE IN ONE DAY 5. Hot Mop Waterproofing System Hot Mop Application #1: Hot asphalt is applied to bond layers together Install 1 ply RUBEROID 20 Smooth Membrane (synthetic ply sheet) Hot Mop Application #2: A second layer of hot asphalt is applied Install 1 ply Mineral Cap Sheet, hot-mopped into place Apply granules for added durability, UV protection, and weather resistance This creates the main waterproofing layer of the flat roof system. 6. Flashings & Details Seal around all edges, walls, pipes, AC stands, and equipment Install all necessary flashing to ensure complete waterproofing and proper drainage 7. Final Walk-Through Perform a full inspection to confirm proper adhesion and sealing Clean the entire jobsite and remove all debris
