To meet egress requirements in a room or living space, we may need to install a casement window or adjust the window configuration beyond the client’s design preference. Some older homes were built before current codes, so our team will review each opening carefully and ensure that all installations comply fully with today’s city safety and egress regulations.
WHAT IS A MULLION ?
Provides support between two or more impact-rated windows or doors.
Tested and rated for wind loads (very important for permitting and NOA compliance). Usually anchored to the opening, transferring forces into the wall.

PHASE 1
Project Process Overview:
✅ A Project Manager will be assigned to your job. 📞 Your Project Manager will contact you with a welcome call. 📏 We will then dispatch a measurement technician to your property. 🪟 The technician will take detailed interior and exterior measurements of all windows. 📐 Please note: the technician may also measure windows not being replaced, as this helps create an accurate floor plan. 🖋️ The property owner must be on-site and ready to sign the permit application through our notary service at the time of measurement.
PHASE 2
Project Timeline Overview: 🏘️ If your home is part of an HOA, we’ll handle the submission of the approval form on your behalf. ✅ Once HOA approval is received, we’ll proceed to order your custom products. 📄 The permit application will be submitted after the product order is placed. 📞 Your Project Manager will keep you updated on the estimated arrival time (ETA) of your products. ⏳ The average lead time for custom windows and doors is approximately 3 months. 🔔 Once the permit is approved and the products have arrived (usually around the same time), your Project Manager will contact you to schedule your installation.
PHASE 3
Customer Preparation & Installation Guidelines
Before Installation: 🪑 Clear the area: Remove any furniture or décor around the windows so our installers can work safely and efficiently. 🔒 Security systems: Please disable or remove any security devices. Our team does not remove or reinstall security systems. 🪟 Window coverings: Remove blinds or curtains prior to installation. You will be responsible for reinstalling them after the work is complete. Day of Installation: 📄 Permit card: A permit card will be placed in a visible location. Do not touch or remove it at any time. 🛡️ Protective measures: We will cover surrounding areas to minimize dust and protect your home. 🏷️ Window stickers: Windows may have stickers do not remove them until the final inspection has been passed. ⏱️ Installation timeframe: Depending on the number of openings, installation may take 3 to 7 days.
PHASE 4
Finish Work & Final Inspection
🏛️ Inspection Requirement: Some cities require a final inspection before the edges around windows can be finished. 📞 Scheduling: Call to request the inspection (your permit package should be available). The property owner must be present for the entire day, as inspection notifications are often received on the same day with a 3-hour time window. ✅ City Inspection Outcomes: Option 1: Pass Final Inspection – your project is approved. Option 2: Adjustments or Revisions Needed – the inspector will provide notes detailing any required changes. 🚪 Door Designs: Door designs will be installed at the end of the project. Installing the designs is not required to pass the final inspection.
PHASE 5
As a professional installation company, our focus is on expert window and door installation not detailed cleaning services . 🧰 After installation, our crew will remove debris and do a light wipe-down in the work area to leave it presentable. 🧹 ✨ For full window detailing or deep cleaning, we recommend using a professional cleaning service once the project is complete. 🧼 🏠
