Tram 28 has become a popular way to explore Lisbon. You could say it’s a 2-in-1 experience: discovering Lisbon’s history through its old neighbourhoods, combined with the experience of doing it ‘the old-fashioned way’, aboard a mode of transport that has crossed generations. From the starting point in Martim Moniz to the final stop in Campo de Ourique , the journey takes around one hour. You can hop on and off along the way if you purchase a 24-hour travel card at a Metro station.

Explore Belém & Try the Famous Pastéis de Belém

Take the train or get an Uber to Belém and walk around the area. You can walk from Padrão dos Descobrimentos , through the beautiful gardens near the Belém Tower , to Mosteiro dos Jerónimos or visit a contemporary art and cultural centre, the CCB. If you go to Belém, you cannot miss the famous and delicious Pastéis de Belém. The seafood restaurant “Nunes Real Marisqueira” is also very close by.
