GENOMICALLY-ENHANCED EPDS Animals in the sale have been genomically tested. These EPDs are re- evaluated more often than before so they will change more often. GE- EPDs provide more precise EPDs based on a combination of pedigree, phenotype and DNA. One major benefit is risk reduction through increased accuracies on many traits—the equivalent to having 8-20 progeny. This saves time when assessing young breeding stock and delivers commercial customers more confidence when buying seedstock. Also, if you look under the EPD block of information, there is a % rank category with numbers showing where each animal ranks within the population. This will help you select bulls high in the traits important to you. EPDs dated 1/26/26
