BRED HEIFERS Lots 88-97
The bred heifers presented here represent our 55-year long commitment to the Limousin breed and the producers who have come to rely on the muscle, growth and efficiency inherent to the Limousin breed. They sell bred to bulls proven for calving-ease as well as growth traits. The projected due dates are based on ultrasound pregnancy testing done in September. Those bred earliest will be due shortly after the sale and we will help arrange delivery as soon as possible. They have had two rounds of Scour Guard vaccinations for scour prevention. We encourage you to be prepared to take the females home early so they may acclimate to your environmental conditions prior to calving. If you take them home sale day we will credit you $50 per head. OPEN HEIFERS Lots 98-107 This top-notch set of yearling heifers was selected based on their conformation, pedigree history and EPDs in order to predict superior future production. Just as with their yearling bull contemporaries, since birth, these heifers have sorted themselves toward the top of their respective calf crop. In many instances, their genetic makeup is similar to the females we have chosen to retain in the herd to produce the next generation of SYES bulls and replacement females. We encourage you to take these females home early so they may adapt to your management style prior to showing or breeding. We’ll begin making arrangements for delivery as soon as possible. If you take them home sale day we will credit you $50 per head.
