PROPOSED IGS Hawkesbury 45 METRE FIXED WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER INSTALLATION – 1963 HOTEL DE VILLE STREET, LEFAIVRE, ON K0B 1J0 Proposal: The Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) (the “Proponent”), on behalf of IGS Hawkesbury, is proposing to build a new wireless communications tower, known as the Lefaivre Tower (the “Installation”), which will be located at 1963 Hotel de Ville Street in Lefaivre, Ontario, to improve broadband coverage and to meet the increasing demands in the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet. This public consultation is being conducted by EORN, on behalf of IGS Hawkesbury. EORN invites you to provide by email your comments and questions on the proposed antenna system by February 27, 2026. EORN will respond to all written, reasonable and relevant concerns, and this information will be shared with the Township of Alfred Plantagenet for review to assist in determining their position to the proponent and the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development. Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is responsible for the approval of the antenna system and requires that we review the proposal with the local municipality. After reviewing this proposal, The Township of Alfred Plantagenet will provide its position to Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada and IGS Hawkesbury.
