Sommaire : Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de l’entrée au système informatique des transactions bancaires et des transactions qui concernent les comptes clients pour l’ensemble de la Corporation des Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell. Il sera également en charge de la conciliation des recevables au grand-livre. Exigences : Diplôme d’études collégiales d’une durée de trois ans en comptabilité. Expérience pertinente d’au moins trois ans dans un poste similaire. Habileté à communiquer facilement en français et en anglais (verbalement et par écrit). Connaissance de la comptabilité municipale serait un atout. Expérience avec les logiciels informatiques financiers, bonne connaissance du logiciel pour fichiers électroniques (Excel), traitement de texte (Word) et courrier électronique (Outlook). Démontrer de bonnes habilités à gérer/prioriser plusieurs tâches simultanément dans un milieu de travail dont la charge est soutenue avec certains échéanciers. Démontrer de l’autonomie et de l’initiative. Capacité de travailler en groupe et sous pression. Aptitude pour la résolution de problème et la prise de décision.
Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for entering banking and accounts receivable transactions in the financial software for the entire Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. This position will also be responsible for the General Ledger receivable conciliation. Requirements: Must have three years college degree in Accounting. Relevant experience of at least three years in a similar position. Ability to communicate easily in French and English (orally and in writing). Knowledge of municipal accounting is an asset. Experience with financial software, good knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel), word processing (Word) and email (Outlook). Demonstrate good skills to manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a workplace where workload and deadlines are substantial. Demonstrate autonomy and initiative. Ability to work within a group and under pressure. Problem solving skills and decision-making ability.
