NABEPROCESS Co., Ltd., a Japanese printing company, has advanced its sustainability initiatives by adding an Asahi AWP-LOOP water recycling system to its Crystal- CleanConnect configuration. CrystalCleanConnect is an offering jointly developed by Asahi Photoproducts, ESKO, and Kongsberg that automates the flexographic platemak- ing process, reducing steps from 12 to 1 and reportedly reducing potential for error. The system produces flexog- raphic plates ready for mounting on press.
