150 HEREFORD HEIFERS At the end of the bull sale, 150 open Hereford heifers will sell from straight off our replacements. This is an outstanding set of heifer calves that will make some excellent mother cows. You’ll find them easy fleshing, well-pigmented and consistent throughout. They are bred to be maternal while still carrying the same carcass potential as their bull mates. They have had all their health vaccinations, including a Bangs and pre-breeding shot. They have been dewormed and recently poured for lice. Any heifers in the sale can be registered, if desired. Just let us know at the time of settlement and we will get them registered and transferred to you at cost for $40/hd. How these Heifers Sell The Top Cut The top cut will be sold first with the option to pick one or more. These premium heifers will have EPDs and actual information available before sale day. You can find this information prior to sale day at rauschherefords.com on the 2025 Bull Sale page. Remaining Heifers The bulk of these heifers will be sorted into load lots based on weight and sold in groups of 5 or more — gate cut.
