At the moment they cease to work they endager themselves to desease and destruction. Steadfast Continuance In The Bible. A young man, after his conversion, decided to give most of his spare time to studying the Scriptures. He took a large note book and began reading the Bible, marking down under different headings, the truths that came to him from the Bible. He became a splendid church worker and is to-day at the head of a department in a large Bible Insti­ tute. A physician promised God that he would spend an hour each day studying the Bible systematically. That man became a steward in his church. Later he started a Union Bible Conference in his own city, which has continued for ten' years, having conferences each month. During that time he was the prime mover in lining up 32 churches in a great soul-winning campaign. The early"Christians continued steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine. A knowledge of the Bible makes a worthwhile worker. Steadfast Fellowship. The story is told that Peter Bilhorn was once work­ ing with an evangelist who became dis­ couraged at the end of the first week. He gave the people a tongue lashing and said that would be his last night. He then broke fellowship with the workers and the church. Mr. Bilhorn announced that he would hold a service of song and praise the next evening, which he did and a number were converted. He announced a service for the next evening and continued until there was a great revival. Steadfast in Breaking Bread. The early church broke bread, every Sunday
