Ryan Mathew Garcia, asistente de fisioterapia, se graduó de la Universidad Estatal de Texas con una licenciatura en Ciencias del Deporte y los Ejercicios con énfasis en cursos de Preparación para la Fisioterapia en el verano de 2016. Posteriormente, decidió utilizar el conocimiento que aprendió durante sus estudios de pregrado para desarrollar una carrera en el campo de la fisioterapia, y tomó la decisión de asistir a un programa de asistente de fisioterapeuta. En agosto de 2018, Ryan se graduó de Concorde Career College en San Antonio con un certificado en Asistente de Fisioterapeuta. Después de obtener su licencia, se unió a la familia de TPT en octubre de ese año, y distribuyó su tiempo entre nuestras oficinas en Mission y Penitas. Él cree que al tener el paciente más conocimiento y comprensión sobre su lesión, este puede ejercer un efecto muy significativo en su proceso de rehabilitación. Además, se esfuerza para que los pacientes recuperen su función anterior o para que puedan ser tan funcionalmente independientes como sea posible.
Ryan Mathew Garcia, PTA, graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science with an Emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy in the summer of 2016. He later decided to use the knowledge he learned during his undergraduate work to pursue a physical therapy career and came upon a decision to look in to a physical therapist assistant program. In August 2018 Ryan graduated from Concorde Career College in San Antonio with a certificate in Assistant to Physical Therapist. After becoming licensed he joined the TPT family later that October splitting time between our Mission and Penitas location. He believes that when the patient has more knowledge and understanding surrounding their injury it will have a tremendous effect on their rehabilitation process. He strives to get patients back to their previous function or to be functionally independent as much as possible.
