Johne’s Disease or “That damn sh***ing disease!” Johne’s Disease, formerly considered a dairy disease, is be- coming very prominent across the beef herds. If you don’t know what it is, get your phone out and Google it. We started hearing about this in herds around here a few years ago. This prompted us to test our herd for this devastating disease. At that time the state veterinarian was implementing a program for Johne’s and we enrolled. Since then, we have tested all females 3 years old and older and all bulls 2 years and older with all tests being negative. We are now a certified Johne’s-Free herd. As your seedstock supplier, we felt it was necessary to do this to give you the peace of mind when buying from us. Sight-Unseen Purchase Guarantee Buyers unable to attend the sale may call or send their bids in to Russ, the auctioneer or any of the representatives listed. If the bull(s) purchased are not as presented, the purchased bull(s) can be returned to Regency Acres at no cost to the buyer. EPDs: The EPDs are current as of March 13, 2026. Current EPDs can be found at Angus.org.
