Estates

Grade:

Job Dimensions: The UCL Estate comprises over 200 buildings valued at a reinstatement value of £3bn+. UCL is in the midst of a 10 year Capital Programme with a value of £1.25bn in which UCL Estates is helping shape the transformation of the university. The post holder will: • Drive the strategic implementation and constant review of the Masterplan and the wider Institutional Estates Strategy with particular reference to the effective utilisation of space both within UCL’s leasehold estate and its retained freehold estate. • Actively engage with UCL Estates representation on Schools / Faculty boards working to align Estates and Institutional Strategies with local initiatives and their effect on the Property function. • Assist the Director, Property to communicate the resultant Property Strategy to its retained external advisors, principally through the appropriate contacts at Deloitte and Gerald Eve.
