Program Impact Update
This fall, Friendship Circle continued to grow and expand our mission of creating inclusive, friendship-based opportunities for individuals of all abilities. We are thrilled to welcome Diana Rose to our Music Team, Payton Wright, our new Program Coordinator, and Ilyssa Sealove, our Administrative Coordinator supporting our programs and campaign operations. Together, they are helping ensure every participant feels supported and included while expanding the reach and impact of our programs. Expanding Programs and Spaces Our Art and STEM Room has become a vibrant hub for creativity and innovation, allowing participants to explore technology, art, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment. Volunteer Growth and Engagement We welcomed over 60 new volunteers this season, a 15 percent increase over last year. Our Sunday Circle program continues to thrive, with participants engaging in interactive games, crafts, and group activities designed to foster social skills and build confidence. Volunteers consistently go above and beyond, mentoring participants, helping them navigate challenges, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment. They are also actively helping out at TYA, U Matter, community outings, summer camp prep, and special events, bringing joy and support to participants across programs. Community Highlights The season kicked off with over 100 attendees, a 50 percent increase from previous events. Sunday Circle has seen steady growth, with more participants joining each week and enjoying both structured activities and casual social time. Beyond Sunday Circle, our volunteers are actively helping out at TYA, U Matter, community outings, summer camp prep, and special events, bringing joy and support to participants across programs. Our summer camp promises even more opportunities for friendship, skill-building, and hands-on learning experiences in a fun and inclusive setting. Celebrating Together As always, we are grateful to our volunteers, staff, and supporters who make our work possible. We look forward to celebrating at our 21st Gala, an opportunity to honor our community and the incredible impact of Friendship Circle programs.
