February 2026 Oracle

January ’ s Mixer was a ‘ Fiesta Smash ’ with over sixty participants! A colorful Mexican-themed lunch with Margaritas lifted everyone and there were wonderful prizes to boot!

A self-described ‘ back office geek ’, Bill Grannary was instrumental in moving the Tennis Committee from paper records into the digital age. This self-taught software engineer continues to field all tech questions from the committee, with our gratitude. Bill has called Edmonton, Alberta home for over 30 years, after childhood in the eastern province of Ontario. He and his wife, Cindy, initially discovered ORPS quite by accident in 2016, and bought their lot in 2018. Likewise, Bill is a relative newcomer to tennis, only taking up the sport after moving to our lovely community. Now he calls tennis his ‘ passion ’, and credits Kim Krahn and the welcoming tennis community for supporting his journey.
