The New Year kicked off in style at ORPS, with Lifestyles and owners hosting a variety of events that were thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance. As the winter season gets underway, there is a noticeable increase in activity as more people return to the resort. The golf tee sheets are filling up, the pickleball and tennis courts are buzzing with energy, and the pool decks are bustling with residents and guests soaking up the warm sunshine. Committees, clubs, and classes are now in full swing, offering a wide range of opportunities for owners and renters to enjoy all the season has to offer. As the calendar fills with events and activities, I ’ d like to remind owners and renters about the many volunteer opportunities that contribute to making ORPS such a vibrant and enjoyable community. Our sports committees have planned several exciting tournaments and need volunteers to assist with setup, organization, and teardown. With CanAm Week just around the corner, there will be even more opportunities to get involved and help make the event a success. Additionally, the Lifestyles team has prepared a full calendar of entertainment and dining events that require the support of dedicated volunteers. These contributions are vital to ensure the success of our weekly gatherings and fostering a sense of community. Finally, the ORPS election season for 2026 is officially underway, with two candidates running for the Board. Ballots will be sent either electronically or by mail in mid-February. I encourage every owner to vote as it is critical that we achieve quorum in order to conduct the required Association business during our Annual Meeting on March 16 th .
