We have a lot of respect for what the Raml family have built, and their Angus cow herd is certainly impressive. We have been waiting for the right sire to come along and a couple of years ago we stumbled upon RAML Home Town 2778, a high phenotype son of G A R Home Town that offered the impressive genomic abilities of his sire but we think will sire an even more attractive and attractive phenotypic value. We like what we see from this first set of sons of 2778, and have high hopes for this versatile whole herd improver. Calving ease with impressive growth looks to be a constant across this sire group, two of the quickest and most effective ways to keep profitable.
