Calving-ease and calf vigor are traits upon which the cattle business was founded on in this country. Relative to growth, the Limousin and Angus breeds remain calving-ease leaders. Easy births not only allow cows the opportunity to breed back faster, but they also ultimately result in more pounds to sell at weaning.
