It was a chance to celebrate the talents of our tenants with local tenants, family, friends, sta, and partner organisations.

The diversity of artwork was incredible with drawings, photographs, paintings, crafts, woodwork and knitting on display. Some of the artwork was available to purchase with sales tallying close to $4000 for our tenant artists. Several prizes were awarded with Susan winning first prize of the People’s Choice Award, Bharti won second prize, and the Favourite Artist Award went to Quillum with his digital media art. The Packer Prize, chosen by sta, was awarded to Hodette for her amazing book art installation and the 2023 Dean Baylis Memorial Prize, was awarded to two amazing artists – woodworker and pyrography expert Ben and 19-year-old photographer Lilli. This award honours the life and work of our tenant who passed away in 2021, Dean’s mum Ursula selected the winners based on which artist she thought captured Dean’s spirit through their art.
