BASTA SOLE ® recommends the use of our largest bases (125 lbs.) for all umbrellas – whether in-table or free-standing. Sleeve heights are 9" for in-table use and 15" for all free-standing umbrellas. UMBRELLA BASES
Steel Plate Square Base Designed for strength with a low profile and rounded corners for safety. Available in all of Tropitone ® Powder Coated Finishes. A square steel base provides a wider “footprint” than the round version for added weight and stability. It is available with optional built-in wheels for mobility. Two piece construction, 9" or 15" sleeve.
Steel Plate Round Base Designed for strength with a low profile. Constructed from 3/8" or 0.5" thick plate steel. Pre-drilled holes allow these bases to be bolted down in windy areas. Sturdy foot pads raise it off the ground to protect decks. Available in all of Tropitone ® Powder Coated Finishes. Two piece construction, 9" or 15" sleeve.
Cement Filled Aluminum Base These bases are 100% rust proof and are available in weights up to 95 lbs. to support the largest umbrellas. The smooth-spun aluminum outer shell is available in all of Tropitone ® Powder Coated Finishes. Two piece construction, 9" or 15" sleeve.
In-Ground Gopher Sleeve This base may be used when combined with a poured concrete footing. This method of anchoring requires an extended pole that must be 12" longer for safety and stability. Drilled collar allows for lock or bolt installation (bolt not included). Threaded cap included.
UMBDLY Umbrella Dolly Heavy Duty Umbrella Dolly designed for moving CFA or Cement Filled Aluminum Base only. Available in Greco (GRE) finish only.
Cement Filled Cast Aluminum Base with Wheels This heavy duty free standing base includes a bolted sleeve providing additional strength and stability. These bases include wheels, are 100% rust proof and weigh 125 lbs. The cast aluminum outer shell is available in all of Tropitone ® Powder Coated Finishes. Available in free standing sleeve for 1.5", 2" and 2.5" umbrella poles.

Each base is built to the same high BASTA SOLE ® quality standards, however, umbrella size, shape, environment and wind conditions must be factored into your selection.
