Si bien el nuevo edificio mantiene la línea de diseño del anterior en cuanto a su volumetría y color blanco, se desarrolló bajo un concepto de fachada ventilada, considerando un revestimiento exterior de placas de aluminio y ventanas en muro cortina, en un contexto de modernidad visual y ahorro de energía. De esta forma, la arquitectura logró insertarse bien con el entorno y en armonía con la clínica existente. El proyecto se conectó con el edificio y con la torre de consultas médicas adyacente en los tres primeros pisos y, a nivel de subterráneo, con el área de servicios generales. Por su parte, la remodelación del edificio existente permitió implementar varios nuevos servicios y unidades médicas, dejando a la clínica con una capacidad de 102 camas. Las ampliaciones y remodelaciones fueron desarrolladas bajo las recomendaciones de las "Guidelines for design and construction for Health Care Facilities" de la AIA de Estados Unidos.
Although the new building continues the design line of the first building in terms of its shape and white coloring, it develops the concept of a ventilated façade with aluminum panel siding and curtain wall windows, inspired by visual modernity and energy savings. Consequently, the design manages to become part of the context in harmony with the existing clinic. The project connects to the building and the adjacent medical consultations tower on the first three floors and with the general services area at the basement level. Moreover, the renovation of the existing building allowed for the implementation of several new services and medical units, raising the capacity of the clinic to 102 beds. The additions and renovations were developed following the recommendations of the U.S. AIA "Guidelines for Design and Construction for Health Care Facilities".
