El cuerpo del edificio abierto por debajo, para que el espacio del parque atraviese, otorgando continuidad a este ir a lo largo que acompaña al río. Sobre dicha abertura el espacio suspendido de un foyer cuya transparencia permite contemplar el paraje en su extensión. Por la noche este irradiará esa luz teñida de fiesta que acompaña siempre un teatro, infundiendo vida a este borde que ahora puede adquirir la condición de centro.
Under the body of the building an open space allows the park to cross through achieving the continuity of the promenade along the river. Over this opening the suspended space of the foyer allows for extended views of the surroundings through its glassed facades. At night the festive lights of the theater will shine giving life to the riverside that now has become a central attraction.
Son el modo de entender que este aire de fiesta contenida, de celebración recatada, que acompaña a las artes escénicas y a la música, requiere de un ámbito de belleza plástica que sutilmente despierte los sentidos y avive el espíritu, predisponiéndonos a recibirlas en plenitud. Así este nuevo edificio plantea en su espacialidad y en su forma la creación de una múltiple dimensión. A saber, la de constituirse como un nuevo centro de encuentro que hace entrar en contacto a la ciudad con el parque y el río, y que al mismo tiempo posee potencia formal suficiente para dotar de una nueva imagen a la ciudad de Concepción. So this new building presents in its spatial configuration and in its shape the creation of a multiple dimension. Namely, to establish itself as a new meeting center that connects the city with the park and the river, and at the same time possesses enough formal power to provide a new image for the city of Concepcion.
