- Talud: la fachada antes mencionada se alinea sobre un talud que contiene la plataforma del casco antiguo por sobre la placa inferior, relacionada al mar. El terreno se ubica contra éste, siendo parte de ambas plataformas y regalando la posibilidad de vincularlas. Hay que construir una manera de bajar, de vincular las dos plataformas. - Vega: la formación geográfica del talud presenta napas de poca profundidad, que ha trasformado el borde inferior en una vega, una serie de jardines que construyen un lugar más tranquilo y lejos de la exposición del nivel superior. El terreno se ubica en medio, entregando la posibilidad de vincularlos. Hay que construir la continuidad de la vega como hito geográfico de La Serena. - Slope: the previously mentioned façade is aligned on a slope that contains the old city platform above the lower level connected to the sea. The plot is located against this slope, being part of both platforms and offering the chance to link them. We must build a way to descend, to join both platforms. - Wet lowland: the geographical formation of the slope has shallow groundwater transforming the lower edge into a meadow, a series of gardens that build a peaceful place far from the exposure of the upper level. The site is located in the center, providing the possibility of a connection. We must build the continuity of the meadow as a geographical landmark of La Serena.
