Horacio Borgheresi Ramírez, arquitecto y maestro recientemente fallecido, es el iniciador del programa de esta edición de nuestra revista. El encargado de la investigación y de la recopilación del material gráfico fue el joven arquitecto Juan Luis Martínez, quien al descubrir y estudiar la obra de Borgheresi se convirtió también en uno de sus amigos más cercanos en los últimos años. Este artículo es un tributo a su memoria y un reconocimiento de quienes fuimos sus alumnos. Continuando con la serie de artículos sobre Arquitectura del Paisaje, presentamos la sólida obra de Teodoro Fernández en el ámbito de parques urbanos, analizando trabajos ya consolidados –como el Parque Inés de Suarez en Providencia, la remodelación de la emblemática Quinta Normal y el Parque Bicentenario en Vitacura– y dando un vistazo a otros importantes proyectos diseñados por su oficina.
En la sección Concursos se desarrollan las propuestas finalistas de los Teatros Regionales del Biobío y de La Serena, ganados por Smiljan Radic y por la oficina de los arquitectos Holmes Labbé Portugueis y Spichiger, respectivamente.
La selección de obras de nuestros asociados abre con el Boulevard Nueva Las Condes, de las oficinas A4 Arquitectos (y Luis Corvalán Arquitectos), cuyo principal aporte a la ciudad es haber conformado un continuo espacial en el cual conviven diversos edificios insertos en un atractivo lugar de uso común, unificando cada uno de los terrenos. Luego, el Parque Tricao, de Alliende Guridi y Rodríguez, ubicado en las Brisas de Santo Domingo. El Centro Cultural Espacio Matta, de Atelier Consultores, que aporta al rescate y valorización de un mural del pintor Roberto Matta en la comuna de La Granja. El Liceo Hernando de Magallanes, ubicado en Porvenir, una de las zonas más rigurosas y australes del mundo. La Ciudad de Campeones Audax Italiano, de REC Arquitectos. Las oficinas de Televisión Nacional en Concepción, obra surgida del concurso ganado por L2C Arquitectos. La Casa Antilhue, remodelación de Correa Gelfenstein en Santa María de Manquehue, y el interiorismo de las oficinas de Stars, de los arquitectos Benkel y Larraín.
Se completa la edición con otros cuatro proyectos, de las oficinas de Iván Vial, Lira y Tuckermann, Daniel Carvallo y Murtinho + Raby, presentados en la sección Obras Recibidas.
Horacio Borgheresi Ramírez, architect and master who recently passed away, is the initiator of the program in this edition of our magazine. Young architect Juan Luis Martinez was in charge of the investigation and collection of the graphic material and, upon discovering and studying the work of Borgheresi, also became one of his closest friends on the past years. This article is a tribute to his memory and recognition from those of us who were his students. Continuing the series of articles on Landscape Architecture, we present the solid work of Teodoro Fernández in the field of urban parks, analyzing works already consolidated, such as the Inés de Suárez Park in Providencia, the renovation of the iconic Quinta Normal park and the Bicentennial Park in Vitacura - and taking a brief look at other major projects designed by his office.
In the Competitions section we present the finalist proposals for the Biobío and La Serena Regional Theaters, respectively won by the office of Smiljan Radic and architects Holmes Labbé Portugueis and Spichiger.
