Ganado por licitación pública, el diseño de este liceo municipal de la comuna de Porvenir, en Tierra del Fuego, interpreta en lenguaje arquitectónico algunos elementos propios de los selknam, pueblo originario austral. A ello sumó la indispensable captura de la luz para sus espacios interiores, la protección frente al fuerte viento y la materialidad adecuada para aislar el edificio de las bajas temperaturas exteriores. Awarded through public competition, the design of this municipal high school of the commune of Porvenir in Tierra del Fuego interprets some common aspects of the Selknam, southern aboriginal people, in an architectural language. Additionally it deals with the essential retrieval of natural light for its interior spaces, the protection from strong winds and the adequate materials to isolate the building from exterior temperatures.
